Grant completed his PhD in 2021 at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
His research focused on the synthesis and characterisation of liquid crystals containing
secondary and tertiary amides and was carried out under the supervision of Profs Corrie
Imrie and John Storey.
His research in the Senge group is focused on the synthesis
and properties of non-planar free base porphyrins and is funded by an IRC postdoctoral fellowship.
