Zoi holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and a master's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) where she focused on the photocleaving activity of quinazoline compounds. She is currently part of the POLYTHEA project funded by H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mathias O. Senge and Dr. René M. Williams at University of Amsterdam. Her research is based on the design and characterization of potential photodynamic therapies to act as anticancer agents.
